Jason , Kiki , Jen and Angela
Jenni, Heidi , Angela n Natasha There is this old song ,the title is Nobody’s child, a sad song indeed. About an orphan Blind boy that nobody would want to adopt him. The other day I sang this song to Heidi and highlighted the meaning to her .. her reaction ? quiet surprised me coz she only 5 years old kid, she tried so hard to hide her tears .. she lie down on her bed and cried quietly , I was wondering whether my nieces/nephew about her age will have the same reaction as her so I ask my sisters to tell the same story to their kids. My younger sis kids Kiki and Jason , . when the mother asked: is this story sad? She yes.. yeah quiet sad.. but when asked y don’t u cry ? her answer : because not too sad to make me cry . Jason , just quiet ..no reaction . when asked why the people didn’t want to adopt him? his answer : because he is blind. That’s all .. My older si kids : Jennifer and Angela , answer.. Ah .. he just only blind , what about those who got no leg no hand down there .. End up their mother who sang it cry herself while the daughters just didn’t feel anything .. hehe
Oh my .. but quiet fun to know each children reactions when being told the same story .. Definitely Heidi is very sensitive if compare to her cousins ..
Nobody’s Child As I was slowly passing, an orphan home one day And stopped there for a moment , just to watched the children Play Alone a boy was standing and when I asked him why ? He turned with eyes that could not see .. and he began to cry..
Reff: I’m nobody’s child ..I’m nobody’s child Just like a flower I’m growing wild No mommy kisses and no daddy’s smile Nobody wants me , I’m nobody’s child
People come from children and take them for their own But them all seem to pass me , and I left here all alone I know they liked to take me but when they see I’m blind They always take some other child and I’m left behind Reff
No mommy’s arms to hold me or soothe me when I cry Sometimes it gets so lonely .. I wish that I could die I walk the street of heaven where all the blind can see And just like all the other kids .. there be a home for me … Reff |
